Data was taken from the Fatality Analysis Reporting System and was used only to analyze vehicles from model years 2013 through 2017.
Furthermore, a vehicle was only included in the iSeeCars.com rankings if it was involved in a fatal accident between 2012 and 2017. Vehicles that were discontinued or were not sold in large volumes were also not considered in this analysis. While many newer cars do come with advanced safety features, drivers are encouraged to take their safety into their own hands.
